The new Trafalgar by Ballast features a patented bezel control feature which is used to both wind the mainspring of the automatic movement and more critically the bezel is used to set both time and date with ease. Using the outer structure of the case as part of the adjustment mechanism harkens back to submarine clocks and timers that had to be opened to be adjusted.

The Canteen fixture on the watch is manufactured out of 10 individual pieces each individually plated and crafted to protect the setter button adding a level of protection agains the elements.
