This is the larger version of the popular watch the Last Laugh. At 45mm, the case is the largest of the Mr Jones Watches collection and is perfectly proportioned for your wrist.

The time is displayed on the skull's teeth. The upper teeth show the hours, while the lower teeth show the minutes. The Last Laugh is a link to the tradition of the memento mori: an object designed to remind us that life is brief and we should enjoy it while we're here. The eyes and the nose are mirrored and the overall impression is of a gleefully absurd memento mori.

The watch is powered by a 20 jewel automatic mechanical movement. This means there is no battery. The motion of wearing the watch provides the power to wind it up and keep it running. The watch movement also has a 'jump-hour' feature, so the hour flips over exactly on the 59-00 minute transition.
